What happens in Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Season 2?
Season 2 will begin where season 1 ended, adapting the fifth novel volume where High Priest Lumachina has been cursed and Diablo must regain an object he previously obtained in the game Cross Reverie to save her.
Having involuntarily rescued Lumachina Weselia from Assassination by the Paladin Gewalt, Diablo defeats him and leaves Lumachina frozen in ice, believing him to be God. This torments him.
The clerical head of Lumachina’s church believes she should be killed for investigating corruption within the cleric, so she’s been searching for the Head Paladin Batutta. As Diablo recalls that the dungeon he created in the game is located at Zircon Tower, he agrees to escort her there.
A child, who the group recognizes as Horn, offers to be a guide to the dungeon of Zircon Tower City; the description confirms that it is Diablo’s dungeon. An impoverished woman begs a Paladin Brigade priest to cure her child of Death Knell but is turned down because she lacks money. Lumachina heals the child when the priest gets violent, and Diablo defeats him.
The city is invaded by a monstrous sand whale, and Diablo tries to protect it, but he needs the assistance of Batutta and the leader in the city, Fanis Laminitus. Fanis has heavily taxed the church, so they are in dire need of funds. Batutta apologizes for his subordinate’s behavior. Fanis claims God is a swindler and the Church is a fraud.

The fourth episode is available for Internet viewers in the USA, Canada, and Mexico in original Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and VRV. About How not to summon a demon lord (Isekai Mao to Shokan Shojo no Dorei Majutsu)
Isekai Mao to Shokan Shojo no Dorei Majutsu or How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is a Japanese light novel written by Yukiya Murasaki with illustrations provided by Takahiro Tsurusaki. The manga is published by Kodansha under Lanove Bunko and currently, there are 13 volumes in circulation. Several Japanese novels are being translated into English by the J-Novel club.
The manga adaptation of this story was published in 2015 in Kodansha’s Suiykobi no Sirius magazine. The English release is being licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Ajia-do Animation Works produced an anime adaptation of the series that aired from July 5, 2018, to September 20, 2018, with 12 episodes. Tezuka Productions and Okuruto Noboru studio produced the second season.
The story centers around an atypical hikikomori video gamer, Takuma Sakamoto, who is mysteriously transported to his favorite MMORPG, Cross Reverie, where he appears as the god-like Demon Lord Diablo.
They attempt to use a spell to enslave Takuma, the panther’s Rem, and elf Shera, but they both get hooked by a magic ring with the ability “Magic Reflection” and so become his servants instead.
To survive, Takuma uses his high stats and knowledge of Cross Reverie’s lore to learn how to act like his character while interacting with others. Rem and Shera traveling along with him to discover a way to remove their slave collars, while helping them overcome the internal issues that made them summon him to begin with.
