InuYasha
InuYasha is based on the bestselling manga of the same name, which tells the tale of Kagome Higurashi, whose normal life is turned upside down when she is dragged into a cursed well near the shrine where her family worships.
When Kagome falls into the well instead of hitting its bottom, she lands 500 years in the past during Japan’s violent Sengoku period where the demon had reborn the Shikon Jewel, which granted wishes. Inuyasha, a young hybrid dog-demon/human born from a reunited family, assists Kagome in retrieving the shards after a battle with a resurrected demon accidentally breaks the sacred ring. The orphan fox demon Shippo in company with the intelligent monk Miroku, and an extremely lethal demon slayer Sango, help Kagome and Inuyasha in their quest. The two must put their differences aside to achieve their goal of recovering the power-giving shards scattered across feudal Japan, and work together to deal with the threatening situations.
