Myriad Colors Phantom World
Up until recently, ghosts or youkai, which are considered supernatural beings, were thought to be superstitions. People’s perception of the world changes when a virus spreads through society and the mythical beings that are revealed as having lived alongside humanity for eons are revealed.
Also, those of the next generation have been significantly affected, so as to have developed special talents that are useful in combatting the deadly phantoms. The two most renowned of these people are Haruhiko Ichijou and Mai Kawakami. Haruhiko uses drawings to summon phantoms and seal them while Mai allows the elements to be incorporated into martial arts. Team E of Hosea Academy is composed of these three friends along with the friendly phantom Ruru who takes care of these mischievous creatures. Musaigen no Phantom World takes place in a world where the real and the surreal intermingle, depicting the adventures of a group of friends as they try to cope with the troubles caused by phantoms.
