Three decades ago, a new race of mutants wielding flame weapons suddenly appeared, destroying a large portion of human civilization. There have continued to be random attacks from these so-called “Burnish,” leaving their tracks of death and destruction. The autonomous republic of Promepolis is flourishing in this day and age because of the incredible efforts of its leader, Kray Foresight.
A team of firefighters called the Burning Rescue is tasked with stopping these creepy monsters with the most advanced technology available thanks to their incredible mechanic, Lucia Fex. Foresight saved the life of Galo Thymos, a young man of great energy, who considers Foresight his hero and the rescue team’s newest recruit. Radicals known as Mad Burnish have been wrecking havoc across the nation. As a result of an encounter with Mad Burnish leader Lio Fotia, Galo embarks on his fated quest to find out the truth about the mutants, which ultimately leads him to question everything he previously believed.
