The dark apartment of Mafuyu Satou awaits him outside, clutching his Gibson guitar tightly. As he steps outside, he begins another day at school. A chance encounter with Ritsuka Uenoyama, who is furious over how he let his guitar’s strings rust and break, occurs while he is taking a nap in a quiet spot on the stairway of the gymnasium.

The musicians realized that Uenoyama was knowledgeable about the instrument, and Satou begged him to fix it and teach him how to play it. Finally, Uenoyama gets him to join a jam session with the two other members of his band: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji. I have always thought that Satou’s voice is stunningly beautiful, making me think that I can make him the lead singer of the band. After an emotional encounter with an old friend, Satou accepts the offer despite being reticent at first. In addition to learning to play guitar, Satou needs to confront the mysterious circumstances that led him to own it.
